Arching shrub.
4 to 7 feet with equal spread.
Small, yellowish white flowers borne on loose terminal panicles.
May-June.
Alternate, 2-ranked, simple, ovate, long-acuminate, cordate to truncate, 1 to 2” long, or on shoots to 3” long.
Reddish-purple to red autumn color
 
 
 
 
 
  • 'Crispa' - originated in a Denmark - 1-3 feet tall and is very dense. Flower clusters are 2 inches long, loose, greenish white but insignificant.
