	15 to 25 feet
	White, fragrant and cup-shaped. Smaller than other species except S. monadelpha.
	Alternate, simple, elliptic-obovate to oblong-elliptic, 1 1/2 to 4” long.
	Reddish.
	Smooth, light tan to whitish bark.
	Five beaked capsule is one of the largest of the Stewartias.
