70 to 80’ in height, probably 15 to 20’ wide.
monoecious with male flowers forming terminal and drooping panicles while the female flowers are scattered near the ends of branches of the previous year.

Bright green
Changing to orangish brown
 
 
Short stalked cones that are purplish in color and ripen the first year before turning brown.
