This plant of unidentified parentage was originated by
Dr. Charles Purtymun at Walden West Nursery
and registered in 1999. This hosta forms a medium
size mound about 15 inches high and
38 inches wide. In late July, it bears bright purple flowers.
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...closely resembles 'Neat Splash
Rim' in both foliage and flower."
Similar cultivars include H. 'Bold Ribbons' and H. 'Queen Josephine'.
