An H. 'Blue Whirls' seedling, this cultivar was registered by Van Wade of Wade and Gatton Nursery (Closed 2019) of Ohio in 1999. It grows into a large size hosta about 19 inches high with a spread of around 38 inches. The plant has Tardiana-type traits with slightly wavy, blue-green leaves which turn dark green as the summer progresses. Pale lavender flowers are borne from mid-July to mid-August.
