Hosta 'Buckshaw Blue'

An Eric Smith introduction in 1986, this is a multiple award winning cultivar. It has blue-green, cordate leaves that are heavily corrugated and funnel-shaped near-white flowers in mid June to July. The plant is medium sized. It has a heavy substance and is considered resistant to slugs.

H. 'Buckshaw Blue' is a seedling of Hosta sieboldiana and Hosta 'Tokudama'.

Similar cultivars include H. 'Moscow Blue'.

Seedlings include H. 'Devon Mist'.
