Hosta 'Fantabulous'

Ed Elslager registered this seedling of H. 'Fascinator' in 1999. The mound is 17 inches tall and 40 inches wide with slightly wavy foliage. In mid-July, the pale lavender flowers begin to bloom.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...a very wide-margined, much improved version of 'Fortunei Albomarginata', though the two are not related."

These 2010 photos come from the Ralph (Herb) and Dorothy Benedict Hosta Hillside, tours and vendors at the 2010 American Hosta Society National Convention in Minnesota, Wade and Gatton Nursery and Wade Botanical Gardens, Toledo Botanical Garden and the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum.
