Hosta 'Fountain'

Registered in 1983 by Karel Hensen of the Netherlands, this giant size (30 inches high by 42 inches wide) hosta is a hybrid of H. montana x H. 'Sieboldiana'. It has blue-green foliage which turns dark green as the season progresses. The leaves are broadly ovate, shiny on top and deeply lobed. Near white flowers bloom from June into July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "H. sieboldiana longipes = H. 'Fountain'."
