H. montana 'Ginrei'
 

This form of the species H. montana is a non-registered cultivar was found near Mt Fuji in Japan. The large size mound is about 21 inches high with a spread of 50 inches. Its leaves are ovate, moderately wavy, slightly corrugated with good substance. Very pale lavender flowers bloom in July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...bears typical H. montana foliage with an unusual, mottled green and white edge. The flowers, though, are more densely clustered that most H. montana-types."
