Hosta 'Purple Bow Tie'

Originated by Dave Bowe of Ohio, this cultivar was registered in 2021 as a seedling of (H. 'One Man's Treasure' × H. 'Cinnamon Sticks')  × H. 'Cookie Crumbs'. It is a small size (9 inches high by 17 inches wide) hosta with  medium green foliage. The broadly ovate leaves are slightly wavy and dull on top. It bears deep purple, bell shape flowers with purple stripes on dark red scapes from August into September and sets seed but their viability was not known at the time of registration.

According to the Registration materials: "Very small plant with green foliage, red petioles and dark red scapes, and an abundance of attractive purple flowers."
