Hosta 'Richland Gold Splash'

 

Van Wade of Wade and Gatton Nursery (Closed 2019) of Ohio originated this sport of H. 'Richland Gold' and it was registered on his behalf by Kevin Walek (Hosta Registrar) in 2009. It is a medium size plant with blue-green foliage with a golden yellow medial (center) variegation with some streaks in the margins of the leaf. Tubular lavender flowers bloom from mid-July into August.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...a plant much like 'Gold Standard' with white streaks in the center of a few leaves."

"Plant is similar to H. 'Sea Lightning' but smaller. Leaf center is yellowish white surrounded by two-tone green margins which streak to center."
