Hosta 'Tattletail Gray'

This large size plant is a 1923 seedling selection from Cynthia Tompkins of Nebraska which was registered by Peter Ruh of Ohio in 2000. The large size mound grows to 26 inches high and 4 feet wide with heavily corrugated, unruly foliage with thick substance. Its near white flowers bloom in July with H. montana type bracts.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), " of the earliest cultivars developed in the U.S....was a sibling to both 'Lakeport Blue' and 'Rhubarb Blue'.
