Hosta 'Tattletail Gray'

This large size plant is a 1923 seedling selection from Cynthia Tompkins of Nebraska which was registered by Peter Ruh of Ohio in 2000. The large size mound grows to 26 inches high and 4 feet wide with heavily corrugated, unruly foliage with thick substance. Its near white flowers bloom in July with H. montana type bracts.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...one of the earliest cultivars developed in the U.S....was a sibling to both 'Lakeport Blue' and 'Rhubarb Blue'.
