Hosta 'Topaz Tiara'


This sport of H. 'Grand Tiara' was registered by Walters Gardens, Inc. of Michigan in 1998. It grows into a medium size hosta about 13 inches high with a spread of 33 inches. The green leaves have a wide medial (center) variegation in chartreuse. They are wavy, a bit unruly and have good substance. Medium purple flowers bloom in July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), " the tetraploid equivalent of 'Emerald Tiara' from the 'Golden Tiara' group of sports."
