Hosta 'Woop Woop'

A medium size sport of H. 'Pathfinder', this is a non-registered cultivar from Naylor Creek Nursery of Washington. The foliage has thick substance, is twisted and dark green with a narrow white medial (center) variegation. Pale lavender flowers bloom in July.

An article in The Hosta Journal (2011 Vol. 42 No. 2) states that this cultivar was named after a brand of Australian red wine.

An article on "Look Alikes" in The Hosta Journal (2007 Vol. 38 No.1) listed H. 'Woop Woop', H. 'Stitch in Time' and H. 'Mango Tango' as cultivars that are difficult to distinguish from each other.
