Small oval to rounded canopy.

Yellowish green in 3 to 4 inch long racemes.
 
Opposite, simple, 3 to 5-lobed, margin finely and uniformly serrate, 4 to 6” high and wide, pale green above, paler (glaucous) beneath, glabrous, acuminate, cordate; petiole 2 1/2 to 3 1/2” long, glabrous, with a groove at the point of attachment.
Golden yellow.
 
 
Samaras are 1.25 inches long with a wide angle or nearly horizontal wings.
