Small, round head tree with regular branching habit.
20 t0 25 feet - Slow growing.
Greenish yellow about 1/3 to 1/2 inch diameter on slender stalks and 3 inch long corymbs in May.
 
 
Yellow to orange or red - excellent.
 
Moderate, lustrous reddish brown, glabrous, slightly lenticelled, leaf scars meet at a point like Norway.
Samaras about 1.25 to 1.5 inches long forming an angle of about 90 degrees.

 

 

  • ‘Norwegian Sunset’ (‘Keithsform’)-An upright oval outline with good branch structure and uniform canopy structure, glossy dark green foliage turns orange-red to red in fall, good heat and drought tolerance.
     

  • 'Pacific Sunset’ (‘Warrenred’)-An upright spreading, rounded crown form with finer branch structure than ‘Norwegian Sunset’, very glossy dark green summer foliage colors, bright red in fall.
