Juniperus chinensis 'Pfitzeriana'

Wide spreading, dense, vase-shaped to flat-topped shrub with light, feathery foliage.
5 feet tall with a spread of 10 feet, but capable of growing 3 times those values, if allowed.
Plants are dioecious. Male cones are orange-yellow in color, females are yellowish and not showy.
 
Leaves are of 2 types: awl-like and scale-like. Juvenile leaves are awl-like, ⅓ inch long, spreading, in whorls of 3, with 2 bluish-white bands above, sharp pointed. Adult leaves are scale-like, closely pressed, overlapping and diamond shaped, arranged in 4 ranks of opposite pairs, bright green in color.
 
 
 
Cones are rounded, ¼ inch in diameter at first whitish-blue bloomy, becoming dark brown.
