Hosta 'Great Arrival'

This reversed sport of H. 'Great Expectations' originated in tissue culture at Q & Z Nursery. Mark Zilis registered it in 2003. The large mound grows to about 26 inches in height and a width of 50 inches with heavily corrugated leaves. Clusters of near white flowers bloom in late June.

Similar cultivars include H. 'Paradise Expectations'.

These 2010 photos come from the Ralph (Herb) and Dorothy Benedict Hosta Hillside, tours and vendors at the 2010 American Hosta Society National Convention in Minnesota, Wade and Gatton Nursery and Arboretum, Toledo Botanical Garden and the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum.
