Hosta 'Immense'

This cultivar was registered by Peter Ruh on behalf of Lucille Simpers in 1991 as a cross of Hosta montana x H. 'Ibaraki-K'. It forms a very large mound that reaches 34 inches high and spreads over 56 inches wide. The leaves are deeply lobed at the base, have a distinct tip and have a slightly wavy margin. The near white flowers bloom in July on top of 5 foot tall scapes.

Similar cultivars include H. 'Satin Flare'.
