Buxus sempervirens Common Box   Southern Europe, Western Asia and Northern Africa           Tall-growing treelike shrub with ever­green leaves       'Angustifolia' - treelike form with long, narrow leaves 'Arborescens' - tree type with normal leaves 'Argenteo-variegata' -  edges of the narrow leaves are variegated silvery white 'Aureo-variegata' - leaves are variegated with yellow 'Handsworth' -a vigorous growing upright type with darker green foliage it is excellent for hedges. myrtifolia - low shrub with small leaves ½ inch long. It is very hardy. suffruticosa - a true dwarf excellent for low hedges very compact and slow growing. B. microphylla Koreana - the Korean Littleleaf Box is a dwarf variety that has proven to be among the hardiest the boxwoods.
