Hosta 'Mesa Fringe'

Peter Ruh registered this sport of H. 'Regal Ruffles' in 1991. It forms a mound about 27 inches high and 6 feet wide with heavily rippled, deeply veined foliage. The leaves are deeply lobed at the base and have good substance. Very pale lavender flowers bloom in July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...should be considered one of the best piecrust type hosta cultivars every introduced."

Similar cultivars include H. 'Green Piecrust'.
