* Named for a German physician, Leonhart Fuchs (1501-1566) so, technically, it should be pronounced with a hard "K" sound instead of the soft "sh".

Shrubby and slightly pendulous
 
Pink, red, white or yellow corolla and a crimson calyx.
 
 
 

  • ‘Carmelita’ - double white flowers
  • ‘Little Beauty’ - petals lavender-blue and pink sepals
  • ‘Trophie’ - double white to violet-blue flowers.
  • ‘Muriel’ and ‘San Francisco' as well as F. magellanica gracilis, are trailing plants, excellent for hanging baskets.
Mostly crosses between F. fulgens x F. magellanica
